Mumma Circle

We are excited to welcome mums and bubs to join us for Mumma Circle - an opportunity to honour your birth and motherhood journey and to connect with other likeminded mums.

Mumma Circle is a sharing circle for mums where you will be invited to share a story about your birth or your motherhood journey. The circle will be a safe and supportive space for sharing your journey, however it has unfolded, so you can feel truly heard without judgment. This is an important and powerful way to honour your unique journey, to connect with the journeys of other mums and to support each other.

The other elements of our event are some gentle movement and breathwork that we will do at the beginning to make sure you are nice and relaxed before we start to share our stories, then we will finish with some tea and light refreshments and time to connect with other mums and bubs.

We will spend most of the event seated on yoga mats and props, but please bring anything you need for your baby. Also know that feeding, sleeping, crying and fussing is all expected and welcome! We will jump at the chance to help settle a cranky baby or two.

Please note this event is capped at 12 mummas to keep it cosy and intimate.

‘Birth is a rite of passage of women. Their journey should be honoured, their rights should be fiercely protected, and their stories should be shared.’
- Marcie Macari

Easing into Motherhood Workshop

Motherhood is the most amazing, transformational, love and joy expanding journey - but it can also be a vulnerable time that is exhausting and overwhelming. It is a journey that is worth preparing for to make if more easeful - but we often get so caught up with our births, that we neglect to prepare for the next stage.

If that resonates with you, we’ve got you covered with this workshop!

Come along and dive into information and QnA sessions with four women in the business of supporting mums through this journey. The sessions will focus on:

-       What to expect in the fourth trimester (first 3 months of bubs life) and how to protect it to give yourself the best opportunity to recover, bond with your baby and adjust to this new stage of life – with Beth from Offspring Yoga.

-       Matrescence (the transition from maiden to mother) and the physical, psychological and emotional changes that come with it – with Jenni from Offspring Yoga.

-       Preparing your relationship for the journey into parenthood – with Lisa from the Upside of Me Counselling.

-       Mindfulness in motherhood – with Dee from Think Out Loud Wellness.

In between the sessions you’ll have time to connect with other mummas and enjoy a nourishing lunch catered by The Goods Café.

The workshop will end with a 60 minute restorative yoga for pregnancy class (long grounded postures) to make sure you leave feeling prepared, and relaxed!
