We are yoga teachers and doulas passionate about improving outcomes for mums in the pre and postnatal space.
Our work in this space began after birthing our own babies and experiencing how instrumental our yoga, breath and mindfulness practices were – we knew we had to share them.
We extended our support to include doula services after hearing from too many of our Mums how impactful not having true continuity of care was to their experience.
Our mission is to support all women to feel empowered, confident, safe, and strong.

Hi, I’m Jen! I am mum to two beautiful boys, a yoga teacher, a doula and also work in digital project management. My absolute passion is supporting women through the pregnancy, birth and motherhood journey and I feel so privileged to be able to do that through yoga and birth work.
Both of my births were very positive and extremely empowering experiences. I had the support of a doula at each of them and used my breath to get me through the intensity of both physiological births, and will forever have so much respect for just how powerful breathwork is. I am completely fascinated by the female body's ability to grow and birth a child and I truly believe every woman should (and can) have a positive experience, no matter how their baby enters the world!
Pregnancy, birth and motherhood is a transformative, joyful and challenging time, but nothing this amazing comes easily. My goal is to help women and their partners feel prepared for and empowered by this incredible journey through providing information, guidance and support as well offering a community where connection is at the heart or everything we do.
Hi, I’m Beth! I am a mum of three incredible humans, a yoga teacher, a doula and an economist! I nerd out on all things yoga, breathwork and birth and really love sharing my knowledge.
My births were the best and most empowering experiences of my life, and I want every birthing woman to be able to say that. I believe knowledge, preparation and support are absolutely key to a positive experience and feel privileged to provide that for birthing mums and couples.
The transition to motherhood wasn’t as straightforward for me, but I’ve learnt a lot from that journey, and I focus on facilitating a smoother ride for my mums and couples. After all, birth is just the beginning of the wild, bumpy, epic, love filled journey that is parenthood.
One of my favourite quotes sums it up well: “Motherhood is amazing. And then it’s really hard. And then it’s incredible. And then it’s everything in between. So hold on to the good, breathe through the bad, and welcome the wildest and most wonderful ride of your life’.
Our Journey
Offspring Yoga was founded by Jen in mid-2017 during her maternity leave with her first son. Initially offering prenatal classes, Jen expanded to include postnatal classes, providing a supportive space for women in Canberra.
However, the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020 prompted a shift to online classes, allowing all current terms to be completed. After a period of reflection, Jen decided to take a break and focus on her young family, waiting for the right moment to relaunch the services.
In mid-2022, Jen and Beth, both yoga instructors at Wild Studio, discovered their shared passion for prenatal yoga. Together, they decided to breathe new life into Offspring Yoga. Since then, they have expanded their offerings, added new locations, and both completed their doula certifications.
Offspring Yoga is excited to continue serving the Canberra community, supporting women through all stages of motherhood.
